Well first off I'd appreciate it if this didn't get back to Tadashi? He told me about what happened with Hiro. I just wanted your advice on how Tadashi usually deals with hard stuff like this. Like is he the kind of guy who just wants to be alone or do you think he could actually use the company? I want to help but I don't want to crowd him or anything

There's a few minutes before Jaime receives an answer. Cass takes her time, picking her words carefully, appreciating that Jaime's come to her. So grateful that he's thinking about Tadashi like this.]

Mm, you could say he doesn't, in a way. When things get hard, the first thing he thinks of is other people. How to help them, how to make things better for them. "Someone's got to help." Even when he lost his parents... he was so closed off and I didn't know what to do, but it was Hiro that got him moving again.

I don't think he wants to be alone. He was always surrounded by people. I don't think he wants to be alone right now either, and I think that's better for him. But it's Tadashi, he's not that good at leaning on other people or asking for help because he's always the fastest to ask everyone else if they need his help.

That's okay. He doesn't have to reach out for help when there's lots of us who will give it to him whether or not he asks for it.

[The rest must be thinking the same thing as he is, right? Maybe they won't reach out to Cass, but Jaime's had some experience in overstepping his bounds. He wants to do this right.

Besides, none of what Cass has to say comes as a surprise.]

I was planning on bringing some things over anyway so maybe I could come over then?

Although, I'm not sure if I was able to give you anything you didn't know already. If you heard from Tadashi himself, though, I'm glad that he has someone he can confide in.

You let me know that I wasn't about to barge in when that would just suck more for him. That's enough.

Is there anything you need? I know this must be rough on you too.

It'll be all right. He needs the support, he always did.

And I'll be okay, Jaime! Thank you. It's not exactly a walk in the park but they're my family, and we're together. We'll get through this.
